We’re super excited to announce that we are holding an Invisalign open day on Friday 21st February between 2pm and 5pm, and Saturday 22nd February 2020 between 10am and 4pm.

Invisalign uses 3D technology to print out your aligners. You then wear each one for a few weeks to move your teeth into your preferred position.

But wait! There’s more!

Not only that, we now have a lovely new iTero 3D scanner! We’ve decided to name him Ivan, because we’re a bit strange and like to name all our equipment!

The iTero Scanner captures thousands of images of your teeth. This image is then electronically delivered to the lab and from either software or printed models, the restorations are fabricated. Studies show this technology to be equal to or in some cases better than the traditional putty-like impressions. Patient comfort is also greatly improved with the use of the scanner.

The iTero Scanner’s images are also used for the fabrication of Invisalign orthodontics. The images are then sent to Align Technologies and with collaboration between the technician and dentists; an orthodontic treatment plan is developed and then can be presented to you. A 3D image and video of the treatment can be presented to you – the patient – to see the projected time and outcome of treatment.
