Dear patients, friends and family,

By now, everyone is aware of the threat of Coronavirus, and we are all anxious to stop it’s spread. As practice principle, your health and safety are of the utmost importance to me, as is that of my staff. I wanted to make all our patients aware that all our staff have been fully briefed and understand the Standard Operating Procedures that have been laid out by Public Health England, and we are following strict cross infection protocols as always.

Our cross-infection policies and procedures are fully regulated and audited regularly, we have signs on the front door advising patients of the current guidelines in relation to Coronavirus, and hand sanitiser is available upon entry and exit of the practice. We are also ensuring none of our staff or their family are displaying any symptoms before reporting for work.

I can assure you, as a practice, we are carrying on as normally as possible.

However, I would like to encourage any patients that feel they have any symptoms of the virus, which are a constant cough, a high temperature and shortness of breath, to please cancel their appointments prior to arriving at the practice.
