Dr Simon Rana has been a full-time practising dentist since he graduated from the University of Manchester in 2015. He has a keen interest in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry.
Since graduating, he has been fortunate enough to work in private practices around the West Midlands. It is from these positions that he has developed an obsession with dentistry and a need to push his abilities and up-skill himself through courses within the Royal College of Surgeons. Currently he is the youngest member to have completed the Diploma in Restorative Dentistry within the Royal College of Surgeons, a course that has allowed him to be guided by some of the UKs leading dentists.
He has also completed a Masters programme in Advanced Clinical Dentistry at the University of Kent.
Over the last few years Simon has been fortunate enough to be involved in sports dentistry, looking after local premier league football clubs around the West Midlands.
The reason he has gone to such lengths to improve his skills is so that he can fulfil his passion; to provide the most effective, minimally invasive dentistry to improve patients’ well-being.
Simon loves nothing more than to see the happy expressions on his patient’s faces when he shows them their new smile. Improving a person’s self-confidence, giving them the feel-good factor and helping people when they are in need delivers enormous job satisfaction. He prides himself on high quality dentistry and love what it can do for people – it truly can be life changing for so many people.
Outside of work Simon is also a big football fan and an avid Aston Villa supporter.BACK TO TEAM
